The Grand Hotel Imperial is the only hotel in the city of Levico Terme with its own complete spa with medical centre, cabins for thermal baths and mud treatments, inhalation rooms, massage rooms, and post-treatment relaxation rooms. On the ground floor of the hotel, the thermal spa is easily accessible by elevator. During their treatment cycles, guests are continuously monitored by our expert medical staff and specialists in thermal medicine.

The renowned water from Levico and Vetriolo, rich in iron and arsenic (this “poison” is an important curative in correct doses, and is also used to cure leukaemia), emerges from springs 1,500 metres in altitude and flows directly into our thermal spa. The waters used in balneotherapy, due to their iron and arsenic content, are scientifically proven to have many curative effects, especially for problems generated by anxiety and stress. Recent research has confirmed the effectiveness of the thermal waters of Levico for respiratory complaints due to pollutants such as smog. For these symptoms we have created an area dedicated to aerosol and inhalation treatments. Mud therapy is particularly effective in resolving rheumatic problems such as primary and secondary arthritis, neurodystrophic and psychosomatic rheumatism, the aftereffects of fractures, and so on. Thermal water also is indisputably effective for disorders of the thyroid and the skin, as well as for gynaecological ailments.
