The Valsugana bike route, which connects Caldonazzo Lake with the splendid city of Bassano del Grappa, is a real paradise for bike enthusiasts. It extends for 80 kilometres through culture, history and unique natural landscapes between Trentino and the Veneto, two regions united by a common past and distinguished by the waterway that gently caresses the valley—the Brenta River. Its waters will accompany you on an easy route that is mostly flat and is suitable for anyone who wants to spend a few hours in freedom and in contact with pure and uncontaminated nature.

This itinerary of great panoramic and environmental value is challenging. The route is primarily on mountain roads and secondary roads, as well as brief sections on bike paths. This allows you to completely avoid the traffic in the valley and at the same time offers outstanding panoramas and views of the Mocheni Valley, the high plain of Pinè and the peaks of Lagorai. The first part takes place between the Valsugana and the Mocheni Valley and passes through the characteristic town of Palù dei Mocheni and up to the Redebus Pass. The second part features beautiful mountain roads that lead you to the characteristic lakes of Piazze and Serrai, and then to the lovely lake of St. Colomba. The final brief segment is on the heavily trafficked provincial road that connects Civezzano with Pergine, where cyclists must pay particular attention.
